Anil Chaturvedi is a banker who has some experience in finance after working with some leading international banks in the world. He has specialized in corporate and private banking, corporate advisory business and investment banking. Anil has some particular focus on transactions between Europe and India. He is the managing director of Hinduja Bank, which is situated in Switzerland.
Anil Chaturvedi has attended two universities where he pursued courses related to business. In 1970, he joined the University of Delhi where he studied a degree in Arts and graduated in 1973 with honors in economics. In 1971 he joined Delhi school of economics at the same university and attained his M.B.A
Anil worked as a manager in State Bank of India from 1987 to 1991. He served as a manager under the Department of Development and Planning for three years. He was responsible for planning and implementing strategies that would capture business run by the non-residents of India in the USA. His successful marketing and implementation strategies made him come up with over $500 million worth company within four years. He was then honored as the man of the year.
After leaving State Bank of India, Anil became the vice president and the senior representative for the US operations at ANZ Grindlays Bank in New York. He headed all activities that were taking place in the organization. He was also responsible for marketing, production, regulatory and compliance issues, generating a profitable model for the institution and developing the leadership skills. He served in the bank for two years and later left.
In October 1993, Anil became the Managing Director at Merrill Lynch in Greater New York. At this time, he was one of the top advisors in the world’s biggest wealth company and a member of the circle of champions.
He left Merrill Lynch in July 2011 and joined Hinduja Bank in Geneva Switzerland. He is the Managing Director at Hinduja where is responsible for developing some corporate advisory corporate. He is in charge of facilitating cross-border strategic alliances among corporates in Europe, India Asia, and the USA.
